Paging the Washington Capitals
The Capitals played yet another lackluster game against the Phoenix Coyotes and lost 2-1. I couldn't even bear to watch the rest of the game after Phoenix went up 2-1. I thought perhaps if I acted like a superstitious hockey player or a superstitious fan, in this case, and turned the tv off they might pull out a win or Ovie might score. Alas, no such luck.
Where did the Capitals that made an amazing run to the SE Division title go? This team is not playing with heart and it shows.
The only bright spot from that game...net minder Jose Theodore looked solid in goal again. He made some pretty spectacular saves but he gets rewarded with another loss.
The Caps face the Dallas Stars and net minder Marty Turco on Saturday. Let's hope they show up.
Let's go Caps!
