Get the Caps a therapist

This is the most annoying hockey season I've ever watched in the Alex Ovechkin era of Capitals hockey.  And, this team is the most gutless, lack of effort, skate around and try to look pretty team I have ever watched.  They can't even muster the effort to grab two points on a night they desperately need to grab two points.  Instead they lose 0-5.  Ugh.  The Caps lack of heart has been a continuing theme of mine, for the past several years, particularly, in the playoffs.  It's gotten worse this season and, tonight, reached a new level of awfulness.  The Caps mustered 17 shots to the Canes 40, had 16 hits to the Canes 24 and failed miserably in every other statistical category, which only emphasizes their lack of heart.  In other words, they sucked...again.

I miss the blue collar, lunch pail Caps teams from the Dale Hunter and Olie Kolzig era.  Give me those guys any day of the week over this current team. They didn't have half the talent, but they sure worked a lot harder than most of the guys wearing Capitals uniforms today.

The team today doesn't care about each other and are fighting each other during practices.  It's so obvious they need therapy.  Even if they do manage to make the playoffs, I don't see the Caps making it out of the first round. As always, I would be happy if the Caps proved me wrong.

The only thing good about Caps hockey, right now, is the fact that pitchers/catchers reported to Nationals training camp.   Finally, a distraction from the train wreck that is Washington Capitals hockey.

Let's go Caps!
